Breaking Chains While Building Kingdom Legacy

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

-Isaiah 6:8

Generational wealth isn’t just about material blessings—it’s about passing down the fire of Christ. We’re called to break through the barriers of past hurts and step into the inheritance God has for us. Here, we build a legacy rooted in healing, freedom, and the transformative power of Christ’s love—a legacy that doesn’t just change our lives, but the generations to come.

Welcome to Kingdom Kindling

A space born from one woman’s journey through brokenness into deep, holy restoration. My name is Amy Ross, and this ministry is a reflection of what happens when God meets us in the middle of our ordinary lives and sets them ablaze with His extraordinary love.

For the past 15 years, I’ve served as a public school educator with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I’ve led as a Team Leader, served as the Lead Mentor for new teachers, and was honored to be named Teacher of the Year in 2020, with a nomination again in 2025. But this past year, God began to set a fresh spark in me—one that led me out of my role as an elementary school teacher and into a new calling as a Christ-rooted, Kingdom educator. I stand in awe of how every year before was preparation for what He is doing now. What once was a career in education has become a mission: to teach hearts, not just minds—to lead others into deeper intimacy with Him. Kingdom Kindling was born from that holy shift, and it has bloomed into far more than I could have imagined.

At the beginning of my 2024 school year, God encouraged me to begin a prayer group, and what started with just a few faithful hearts quickly grew to over forty individuals. Each morning, I would send out a message with Scripture, a short devotional word, a song, a prayer, and a breath prayer—a moment of pause and presence with God to carry into the day. Through this daily rhythm, the Lord guided us through nine books of the Bible in a single school year.

From those sacred mornings and my love for Him, Kingdom Kindling was beginning to bloom. God impressed on my heart that the prayers He had given us were not only for us, but for others hungry to experience deeper intimacy with Him. I began crafting those guided Scripture-based prayers into Bible Study Journals—tools designed to help people not just read the Word, but encounter the Living God through and how to incorporate Him into their daily lives. I saw how often both new believers and seasoned seekers alike longed to go deeper, but felt unsure how to begin. These Bible Studies and prayer journals became a response to that need.

The fall of that same year, God opened the door for me to begin discipling high school girls through a youth group program. Becoming a small group leader and walking with these young women as they grew closer to God became the greatest education I’ve experienced in my 15 years as a teacher. My heart longed to share even more of Christ—to equip them not just to know Him, but to follow Him in a way that would ignite others, too. That desire gave birth to a discipleship curriculum focused on transformation and multiplication: disciples who make disciples.

This is the heart of Kingdom Kindling—taking God’s fire and kindling it within others we encounter.

Additionally, Bible studies and prayer journals, which started as prayer messages, are now integrated into the discipleship curriculum and are also available for anyone seeking a more rooted, Spirit-led connection to God and His Word. The first study—on 1 Peter—is available on Amazon, along with other Spirit-led journals, and more are currently being prayerfully developed.

A conviction continues to stir in my heart: many first encounter the Lord outside their homes, when He is meant to dwell within them too. The local church is vital for spiritual growth, in extension, God is calling us to carry His presence into our homes, workplaces, schools—making faith a daily rhythm, not just a Sunday experience. Through prayer, Scripture, and Spirit-led practices, we create lasting transformation, passing down the fire of God that lives with us and extends His presence. As Deuteronomy 6 reminds us, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home…” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).

Kingdom Kindling LLC was born from that fire—a Spirit-led movement awakening not only individual hearts, but entire households through discipleship offerings, retreats, and biblical resources. As a parachurch entity, the LLC engages in content creation, discipleship coaching, and ministry partnership.

“My message and preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”

1 Corinthians 2:4-5
